It's estimated that 25,000 to 30,000 shelter animals are killed in Clark County, Nevada each year. More than 65% of the dogs euthanized are identified as "pit bulls." The majority are gentle, loving pets who were abandoned to the streets or surrendered by their owners. They are killed simply because the shelters do not have enough room to keep them all. We're asking for your help to save just some of these precious lives.

Fostering a Dog in Need

Fostering a dog in need is one of the most important ways you can help a rescue. The lack of qualified foster homes in the biggest obstacle we face in saving adoptable pit bulls. Fostering a homeless animal until he/she finds a forever home is a very rewarding experience, and foster homes are also given "priority" in the adoption of the fostered dog. So, it's also a great way to see if this pet and your family are a perfect match! Approved vet care for the fostered dog is paid for by Bullie Buddies of Las Vegas, and we also provide a food allowance. Donations are vital to our rescue efforts - without funding we cannot provide for shelter, veterinary care and the daily needs of pit bulls in need.
